એક જ indicator, bar ના size પ્રમાણે અલગ-અલગ વાત કહે છે.

Daily bars પર ગણેલો indicator છેલ્લા થોડા દિવસોની પ્રતિક્રિયા આપે છે; weekly bars પર છેલ્લા થોડા મહિનાની. બંનેમાંથી કોઈ વધુ સાચું નથી — બંને અલગ-અલગ પ્રશ્નોના જવાબ આપે છે.

ઘણી વાર બંને એકબીજા સાથે સહમત નથી હોતા, અને આ અસહમતી વિરોધાભાસ નહીં પણ માહિતીસભર છે: daily RSI 46 હોય અને weekly RSI 62 હોય તો એનો અર્થ એ છે કે short-term excitement ઠંડું પડ્યું છે જ્યારે longer trend હજુ મજબૂત છે.
