How this share's price performance compares with every other scored share.

Every scored stock is ranked on its price performance over the past year, and that ranking is converted to a percentile from 1 to 99. A score of 97 means the stock outperformed about 97% of the market.

This is *relative* strength — performance against other shares, not against a fixed benchmark. A score of 90 in a falling market can mean "fell less than most".

The rank is the raw position (for example 98th) and is meaningless without knowing the size of the list it came from — which is why Supath always writes it as "98 of 3,917 scored stocks", or "3 of 23 in Metals & Mining" when ranking within a sector.

85 and above — strong momentum

70 to 84 — improving

40 to 69 — middling

Below 20 — laggard

This has nothing to do with RSI, despite both being called "relative strength" in places. RSI measures a single stock's recent speed; the Momentum Score compares one stock against thousands of others. Momentum also describes the past — it is not a forecast.
